A Series of Words Behind the Sounds
I wanted to write a few entries on the stories/words behind some of my songs.
Entry 1- Heaven
“This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”-Matthew 6:9-10
When heaven invaded earth, the real Jesus encountered a broken world in need of healing and became the ultimate offering in order to unleash the atmosphere of heaven to all of our flawed, vile, dark humanity.
This is the mystery of the gospel and the cross. It’s the wonder that is the miracle.
A king left his throne and wrapped himself in flesh and became one of us, to suffer the most agonizing death in order that He might unlock the power of the kingdom of heaven and make a way for us to have access to the unstoppable nature of who He is.
He is life and where He is life springs up out of dead places. He loves to make dead, hopeless things beautiful. He loves to revive and restore. He is Emmanuel, God with us.
We are sons and daughters of this heavenly kingdom. We have the authority to speak to the darkness and to make the darkness flee. Where there is light darkness has to die.
In heaven there is no sorrow, there is no pain, there is no suffering. There is only peace and joy. So may we be the bold couriers of this living gospel message. Wherever our feet tread may we spread these sounds of heaven. May we see our churches and cities encounter the real Jesus and with that encounter may we see heaven invade this planet and heal this broken world. I’m not looking for just another touch I’m just looking for the real Jesus. Be the hope.

The Dreamers Collective
I have been a journey for some time now, trying to discover fresh ways to express what worship really is. I am enamored with art. Art is so powerful. It has shapes and changes history. I love even how in Revelations while John is mesmerized by this vision the way he explains things are through very vivid visuals.
Words are so powerful and prophetic, but some times we get so caught up in what is being said, that we miss the whole message. Sometimes it is a beautiful thing for us to shut up and to just be silent and to allow space for God to speak.
I wanted to release The Sounds-The Instrumentals as it’s own piece because I believe there is something so healing in music. There are certain composers that have been able to capture a story in their compositions that express hate, love, joy, and triumph all from their melodic tones with no words needing to be said. I believe there is unmistakable power in words, but I also believe there is undeniable beauty in the music we make. I wanted this to be a piece so that you could use it as a tool in your prayer time or quite time to allow the music to take you on a journey and to see healing flow.
I also wanted to start a visual conversation. We’re calling it the Dreamers Collective.
I am calling out all the dreamers. Painters, Graphic designers, dancers, poets, spoken word, videographers any expression of art. I would love for you to listen to the Instrumentals and to express yourself visually with your art in what you feel and see. I would love for us to compose our own visual worship collective and allow that to unlock our worship to the world.

The Unleashing in 4 waves
I have to be very honest, I am truly ready for this record to be out. I know everyone is tired of hearing me talk about it and I know you are saying enough already, just release the beast. Believe me, nothing would please me more. But after some intense marketing meetings my record company and I have come up with a strategy that I believe will unleash tremors and we will see the ground shake.
The Unleashing in 4 waves
A typical new release has, for some reason, played out like this.
First you choose a street date. Then you release the first single. Then, you spend all of your marketing money the month before promoting the CD. Then the street date comes, and you spend the rest of your money promoting the record, and then you pray and bite your nails and hope that the response from the general public will carry it the rest of the way. You get either a boom or a flop.
Well, nothing we have ever done has ever been typical so why should we start now. We have no desire to fit into the mold, our mission is to shatter it!
I truly believe with all my heart that the sound we have is an underground sound and that it will shake nations. I do not believe that I am THE sound, but I believe I am a part of the sound and army that God is awakening. The reason we scream “come shake the ground with the SOUNDS of revival” is because pure, raw revival will not be just about one sound, but the explosions of sounds together, then we will see the kingdom of heaven here on earth.
So here is the mission.
Right now there is no denying that the army is forming. We are ready to see a generation put their worship into motion. My desire is to spread this sound to the whole world. Here is the challenge. The street date for the Sounds of Daniel Bashta is July 26, 2011. We are calling this mission The Unleashing in 4 waves. Every month leading up to the full release, we will release 2 new songs from the project, plus a portion of the documentary we filmed during the recording process. The goal is that each month, the army that is already a part of the sounds will download. Then will tell every person they know, so that the next month we have a louder roar ready to respond. Then those new people will tell everyone they know so that the next month the roar grows even fiercer. By the time July 26th comes around, we will have expanded the sounds and we will be ready to charge hell with a generation full of dreamers and full of miracles. This is the mission! It’s up to us to shake the ground with the SOUNDS of revival. Let love explode!
